We are seeking more players to continue to establish a strong, successful ladies team. Players of any ability are welcome to join in, receiving expert coaching and a warm welcome by just turning up on the night! Training takes place at the Marlpool Lane ground every Wednesday evening beginning at 7:00 p.m. It is directed by Ladies Coach Stuart Eades with training sessions tailored to suit all abilities. Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd May are the dates for the 2010 tournament
After the great success of the 2009 tournament we are looking to improve things even more for the event in 2010. With the new venue, and the use of Pirate’s Beach Bar being a great improvement for the 2009 tournament we are looking to recruit up to 64 teams for 2010, to make this tournament the best in Europe’s hottest sports craze -5 aside Beach Rugby
The venue is again on the superb Magalluf Beach near Punta Ballena where the tournament is open to Men’s and Women’s social teams. Beach Rugby in Majorca has become hugely popular with participants and spectators over the last few years and is becoming a big social event on the island While winning may be the goal for some, there will also be plenty of space for those who want to take part in the legendary "Third Half." Rugby's traditional after-game festivities will spill from the beach to the best clubs and pubs in this tourist hotspot - you will never be far from the action and vibrant night life after the Rugby.
